Challenge

How to make video distribution to resellers as simple as possible?

Nordlux’s product range is huge. And their own video content showcases this product assortment to perfection. Yet when Nordlux provided video content to resellers, they had no way of knowing if those resellers would upload the videos to their product pages. And even if videos were uploaded, Nordlux had no control over their content.

With ambitious plans underway – Nordlux intends to cover 30 percent of new products with video – they couldn’t let this content get held up by distribution headaches.

Solution

Automation cuts distribution time from a year to just one day

Since using Syncle, distribution has become automated, giving Nordlux complete control over their video content. Video content now appears directly on resellers’ product pages. Management of video publishing schedules across multiple resellers’ sites is all taken care of inside Syncle's single platform solution.

Before using Syncle, Nordlux would have to send individual video files to each and every reseller. This was a back and forth process that could involve months of emailing. Throw in extra factors, like contact people leaving organizations, and it was a real headache. It could sometimes take a whole year before a video would finally go live.

Now, video distribution to Nordlux’s resellers is simple, hassle-free and fast. Video mapping  – an automated process in which Syncle links videos to relevant products – is an invaluable tool to accelerate distribution. Once a video is mapped it feeds directly to resellers' product pages with no manual work needed from Nordlux. Speed is particularly important as it ensures ROI on video content creation is maximized.

Single platform distribution makes video management truly manageable

With Syncle, Nordlux has everything they need to understand their video content in one place. Previously, video management was spread across many platforms, making full visibility tricky. But now it’s easy for Nordlux to see which videos are live on resellers’ pages. This is particularly valuable when scheduling content for product launches – Nordlux can control exactly when videos go live and when they should expire.

Ease of distribution is central to achieving one of Nordlux’s main content goals – to get their videos onto resellers’ pages and increase video views month on month. This is where insightful analytics come into play. Nordlux gets full insight into top performing videos, average video view duration, add-to-cart boosts, and many other metrics. This is strategically significant as understanding current videos’ performance makes it easier to plan future content.
